Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (TSEC) – Founded in 1961, the TSEC is a stock exchange based in Taipei, Taiwan. Originally traded by an open outcry system, the TSEC switched to a computerized trading system in the early 1990s. The performance of the TSEC is primarily tracked by the Capitalization Weighted Stock Index, which is similar to the S&P 500 index.
